Ganga Puja
Ganga Puja is a sacred ritual dedicated to the worship of Goddess Ganga, the divine river revered as the lifeline of India. Devotees believe that offering prayers to Mother Ganga purifies the soul, washes away sins, and brings blessings of health, peace, and prosperity. The puja is usually performed on the banks of the holy river or at homes with utmost devotion. People decorate the area with flowers, light diyas, and chant Vedic mantras and aartis. Offerings of fruits, sweets, and sacred water are made to honor the goddess.
